Calculate the acceleration of a charged particle in a uniform electric field.
Last updated: March 2026 | By ForgeCalc Engineering
When a charged particle is placed in an electric field, it experiences an electric force F = qE. According to Newton's Second Law, this force causes the particle to accelerate.
The acceleration is directly proportional to the charge and the field strength, and inversely proportional to the mass of the particle.
