Frequently Asked Questions

Why reject zero?

A denominator of 0 is undefined, so the calculator rejects it instead of trying to continue.

Can I use decimals?

No. The LCD is defined for whole-number denominators, so decimal tokens are rejected.

Why are commas and spaces both allowed?

It makes it easier to paste a list from a worksheet or type one by hand.

Is this the same as LCM?

It uses the same multiple-finding math, but the LCD label emphasizes denominator use.
